Which is why we have introduced a price restructure for our existing Workplace First Aid course and introduce a new course option ‘Basic First Aid’ covering unit standards 6401 and 6402.
This Basic First Aid course is designed to provide participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed to respond to medical emergencies. It covers two critical unit standards:
- NZQA Unit Standard 6401 – Provide First Aid: Participants will learn the fundamentals of administering first aid, including how to assess and manage a variety of emergency situations effectively.
- NZQA Unit Standard 6402 – Provide Basic Life Support: The course also focuses on basic life support techniques, such as CPR, ensuring that participants are equipped to provide immediate care in life-threatening situations.
The course is ideal for individuals who need a recognised qualification in first aid. This course is suitable for anyone who requires basic first aid training for work, personal knowledge, or community safety. It is particularly useful for those in workplaces, community organisations, or high-risk environments.
