Our Breathing Apparatus course is the best in the business.
It is designed for people who work in non-respirable conditions wearing breathing apparatus equipment. It considers the safety of teams working in irrespirable and other hazardous atmospheres.
Our training builds confidence and provides participants with the knowledge and skill to safely use the breathing apparatus equipment while they work.
The course covers:
- The physiology of respiration.
- Different types of apparatus, how these function and safe working procedures.
- How to safely don and operate breathing apparatus in a workplace situation.
- Airline.
The course can be tailored to meet the needs of your workplace.
We can also provide a monthly training and exercise plan for ongoing training.
N.B. This course does not cover use of Breathing Apparatus for firefighting and emergency response.

ENTRY CRITERIA
All course participants must be clean shaven. This is a standard to ensure there is a seal between the user’s face and the (CABA) mask.
All participants must complete a declaration of fitness prior to attending. We will provide course nominees with a pre-course questionnaire for this purpose. Where there is concern for a participant’s health and safety, we may request a full medical assessment.
