Working in extremes of temperature, either hot or cold, poses a health and safety risk.
This course is designed to ensure that participants know the effects on the body of working in hot and cold conditions. It includes legal requirements, Worksafe guidelines and best industry practises.
By completing this course you will know:
- How the human body regulates temperature.
- The methods of assessing the thermal environment and heat strain.
- How to eliminate, isolate, or control the hazard of heat and cold stress.
- Plan for a job in hot and cold environments.

LITERACY & NUMERACY SUPPORT
We have processes in place to be able to support anyone in our trainings to learn and get the certification (if applicable).
There is also a FREE online learning platform that helps improve reading, writing and maths skills as well work and life skills including learning to drive (Road Code), heavy and forklift licences, health and safety and understanding finance (My Money).
Industrial Site Training Courses
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are accepted via phone or email only. Registrations not cancelled by 10 am, two days prior to the course will require payment. However, substitutions are welcome.
