Fire Wardens play an important role in workplace safety

This course is for people who are required to carry out the duties of a workplace emergency warden.

Health and Safety Legislation demands that organisations and workplaces have and follow a Workplace Emergency Management Plan in the event of a major event or emergency. The position of Warden is a key position of responsibility within the plan.

People completing our training course will be able to explain and carry out the duties of a Fire and Emergency Warden, including identifying safe evacuation routes and assembly points, resources needed and communications with other agencies.

You will leave this training with:

• Knowledge of evacuation requirements for a workplace or site.
• Be able to explain the duties of a Fire and Emergency Warden.
