This workplace training ensures you know the tools and techniques to effectively identify and control workplace hazards and assess risks.
Participants who finish the course will be able to:
- Describe the principles of health and safety risk assessment;
- Apply health and safety risk assessment to a job role in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry good practice.
- Describe hazards that may harm workers, the work environment, and organisations;
- Explain health and safety requirements for hazard control;
- Describe hazard control methods; and
- Identify hazards and apply risk assessment procedures.

ENTRY CRITERIA
Nil, a knowledge of general health and safety in the workplace is strongly recommended.
LITERACY & NUMERACY SUPPORT
We have processes in place to be able to support anyone in our trainings to learn and get the certification (if applicable).
There is also a FREE online learning platform that helps improve reading, writing and maths skills as well work and life skills including learning to drive (Road Code), heavy and forklift licences, health and safety and understanding finance (My Money).

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are accepted via phone or email only. Registrations not cancelled by 10 am, two days prior to the course will require payment. However, substitutions are welcome.
