This Mobile Elevating Work Platforms Refresher course will update you and your team with current industry best practice.
Our course provides MEWP operators with a combination of theory and instruction in practical use of the various platforms. We will refresh your knowledge on the operating environment, hazards and risk management, MEWP capabilities and limits, fitness for purpose, pre- use inspections, fault reporting, start up and shut down and certification.

Note: All candidates must hold the unit standards they are refreshing and provide evidence of this
No new unit standards are awarded
This includes refreshing the theory unit standard 23966
In addition to US 23966, one or two of the below unit standards can be selected on a company booked course:
23960: Scissor Lift
23961: Truck Mounted Boom
23962: Self-propelled Boom Lift (Knuckler and Telescopic)
23963: Trailer Mounted Boom (Cherry Picker and Spider Mounted)
23964: Vertical Lift

ENTRY CRITERIA:
Must hold a minimum of Unit 23966 and one or more of the practical units being refreshed on this training.

We have processes in place to be able to support anyone in our trainings to learn and get the certification (if applicable).
There is also a FREE online learning platform that helps improve reading, writing and maths skills as well work and life skills including learning to drive (Road Code), heavy and forklift licences, health and safety and understanding finance (My Money).
