This security training is a compulsory requirement to gain a Certificate of Approval (COA) which will enable you to work as a crowd controller, property or monitoring officer..
Course Duration: 2 days in the classroom with Pre-requisite online 27360, which must be completed within the required timeframe.
PRICE
Scheduled course: $425.00 + gst per person
NZQA UNITS
27360: Describe conflict management in a security context.
27361: Manage conflict situations in a security context.
27364: Demonstrate knowledge of the security industry in the pre-employment context.

LITERACY & NUMERACY SUPPORT
We have processes in place to be able to support anyone in our trainings to learn and get the certification (if applicable).
There is also a FREE online learning platform that helps improve reading, writing and maths skills as well work and life skills including learning to drive (Road Code), heavy and forklift licences, health and safety and understanding finance (My Money).

MINISTRY OF JUSTICE CERTIFICATE OF APPROVAL APPLICATIONS
Industry Training Works Ltd does not manage the COA application process – this is done by PSPLA.
Candidates must submit their application, once completed, all queries regarding your COA must be directed to PSPLA.

The government regulations do not allow for any exemptions for the Conflict Management unit standards (27360, 27361)
If you have completed the National Certificate in Security (Level 2, 3 or 4) after 2009, then you may be exempt from unit standard 27364.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are accepted via phone or email only. Registrations not cancelled by 10 am, two days prior to the course will require payment. However, substitutions are welcome.
