Retaining certification in first aid skills gives reassurance to employers and workers that they have trained and competent people who can save lives in the event of an emergency.
Our first aid refresher ensures that participants meet all key competencies to keep their first aid qualification current. Our course provides an abbreviated version of the full first aid course and refreshes participants on all the practical components of their original course.
NZQA UNITS REFRESHED
Refreshing the NZQA unit standard(s) already held:
6400: Manage first aid in an emergency situation
6401: Provide first aid
6402: Provide basic life support

6 hours
PRICE:
Scheduled course: $160.00 + gst per person
Group Booking: $1,776.00 + gst + disbursements
ATTENDEE NUMBERS:
Maximum of 12
ENTRY CRITERIA
All attendees must hold the first aid unit standards being refreshed and a first aid certificate confirming first aid training no older than 27 months at the date of attending. The option to re-award the unit standards achieved may be available on request.

LITERACY & NUMERACY SUPPORT
We have processes in place to be able to support anyone in our trainings to learn and get the certification (if applicable).
There is also a FREE online learning platform that helps improve reading, writing and maths skills as well work and life skills including learning to drive (Road Code), heavy and forklift licences, health and safety and understanding finance (My Money).
