Confined Space & Gas Testing

Confined Space Training

Course Overview

Work in confined spaces is seen as necessary on most industrial sites and it is also recognised as extremely hazardous.

This course is a comprehensive programme designed for the safety of people who enter or are associated with confined spaces and for those required to plan entry to these areas.

We concentrate on hazard identification and risk management, safe working atmosphere, roles and responsibilities of all parties, work permits and rescue and emergency planning.

Our course comprises both theory and practical work and uses our purpose built training facility to provide realistic scenario experiences. We also customise our course to your workplace needs and are happy to deliver training on your site.

It is for people whose role may involve ensuring a safe working atmosphere for themselves and others. Work sites may include involvement with steam generation, water treatment, hydrocarbon processing, electricity generation, dairy, meat, and timber processing and the building sector.

Content includes defining the need for gas testing, gas testing equipment and its maintenance, hazardous environments, monitoring atmosphere, flammable and toxic gases and interpreting and responding to results.
