As part of recent changes to vocational education in New Zealand, the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) is now consulting on the number and coverage of the new Industry Skills Boards (ISBs), which are set to replace Workforce Development Councils from January 2026.
This is an important opportunity for you to share your views.
The proposed ISBs will cover seven key sectors, including construction and infrastructure.
