Mental Health Awareness Week 2025: Top Up Together
This year, Mental Health Awareness Week aligns with the nationwide wellbeing campaign Top Up. The theme, Top Up Together, encourages us to connect with others while bringing the Five Ways to Wellbeing into our daily lives.
Research shows that a shared, community-based approach to wellbeing delivers the most lasting benefits. Social connection — through volunteering, shared learning, physical activity, cultural practices, and community events — brings purpose, belonging, and improved mental wellbeing.
At Industry Training Works, we want to play our part in encouraging connection and wellbeing. As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re offering free DASS (Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale) testing with all Occupational Health Checks booked before 31st October 2025.
The DASS test is a simple, confidential tool to help identify early signs of stress, anxiety, or low mood — empowering you and your team to take steps before challenges grow.
This Mental Health Awareness Week, let’s take time to connect and top up together. Consider incorporating the Five Ways to Wellbeing into your workplace:
- Me aro tonu / Take Notice — pause and reflect.
- Tukua / Give — show kindness to yourself and others.
- Me kori tonu / Be Active — keep your body and mind moving.
- Me whakawhanaunga / Connect — strengthen your relationships.
- Me ako tonu / Keep Learning — keep growing and exploring.
Nāu te rourou, nāku te rourou, ka ora ai te iwi.
With your food basket and mine, the people will flourish.
If you’d like to include DASS testing with your upcoming Occupational Health Checks, please let our team know when booking. Together, we can look after wellbeing — inside and out.
