This Mobile Elevating Work Platforms Refresher course will update you and your team with current industry best practice.

Our course provides EWP operators with a combination of theory and instruction in practical use of the various platforms. We will refresh your knowledge on the operating environment, hazards and risk management, EWP capabilities and limits, fitness for purpose, pre- use inspections, fault reporting, start up and shut down and certification.

NZQA UNITS

23966:   Describe the types of elevating work platforms (MEWPs), & legislative requirements for their use. (Mandatory Unit Standard).

In addition to US 23966, one or two of the below unit standards can be selected on a company booked course:

23960:   Scissor Lift
23961:   Truck Mounted Boom
23962:   Self-propelled Boom Lift (Knuckler and Telescopic)
23963:   Trailer Mounted Boom (Cherry Picker and Spider Mounted)
23964:   Vertical Lift

Half Day

Scheduled course: $270.00 + gst per person
Group Booking: $1,550.00 + gst + disbursements and Machinery

ENTRY CRITERIA:

Must hold a minimum of Unit 23966 and one or more of the practical units being refreshed on this training.
