Mobile Elevating Work Platforms

Mobile Elevating Work Platforms

Course Overview

Elevating work platforms are a standard feature on all industrial sites. Industry is demanding that operators of EWP items are well trained in the use of these machines.

Our course is designed to install confidence in people who operate EWP, through a basis of theory and instruction in practical use of the various platforms.

Course content includes familiarisation with the operating environment, hazards and risk management, EWP capabilities and limits, fitness for purpose, pre- use inspections, fault reporting, start up and shut down and certification.

Use of harnesses specific to these machines is included but does not cover assessment required for work at heights training.
