ITW Elearning Online Training Confined Space Entrant

NEW Block Course Launch: Permit Receiver & Confined Space Entrant Training

We’re excited to announce a new addition to our training calendar – the Permit Receiver and Confined Space Entrant Block Course – designed to deliver a robust, integrated learning experience for those working in high-risk environments.

This two-day programme has been developed to connect the critical safety procedures involved in hazardous work, offering trainees both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills they need to work safely and confidently.

Course Structure:

  • Day One – Permit Receiver Training
Trainees will learn how the permit to work system operates, including responsibilities, conditions, coordination requirements, and documentation. This sets the foundation for safe job execution in controlled work environments.
  • Day Two – Confined Space Entry
Building directly from the previous day, trainees will apply their knowledge to confined space entry. This includes understanding job scopes, identifying hazards, conducting risk assessments, completing gas testing, and engaging in live communication between permit issuer and receiver.

Why this course matters:
By combining these two essential components, this block course creates a meaningful link between permit procedures and their application in confined space work. Trainees walk away not only with unit standard credits but with a clear understanding of how safe systems of work translate into real-life job safety.

This course is ideal for workers, supervisors, or anyone involved in planning or executing confined space operations. It’s a smarter, more efficient way to train – and ultimately safer for everyone involved.
