WORKPLACE HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING
Health and Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
This training introduces workplace health and safety and covers legal responsibilities, personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard identification and the process of managing risk.
After completing the training, you will:
- Be able to identify and describe legislative rights and responsibilities for workplace health and safety.
- Know the systems approach to workplace health and safety.
- Explain how risks and hazards are defined in the Health and Safety Work Act 2015 (HSWA).
The course may be delivered in conjunction with unit standard 17593 which builds on basic knowledge to lead into practical ways of applying safe work practice in the workplace.

LITERACY & NUMERACY SUPPORT
We have processes in place to be able to support anyone in our trainings to learn and get the certification (if applicable).
There is also a FREE online learning platform that helps improve reading, writing and maths skills as well work and life skills including learning to drive (Road Code), heavy and forklift licences, health and safety and understanding finance (My Money).
Industrial Site Training Courses
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are accepted via phone or email only. Registrations not cancelled by 10 am, two days prior to the course will require payment. However, substitutions are welcome.
