Description

This course provides essential training on identifying workplace hazards and assessing risks to help ensure a safe working environment. It focuses on building practical knowledge and skills so workers can recognise hazards, understand risk levels, and apply effective control measures.
Participants will learn about workplace health and safety rights and responsibilities, the systems approach to health and safety, and how hazards and risks are defined under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. The course also covers the principles of risk assessment and how to apply them in line with industry good practice.
